Pendrell Hall Wedding
The gorgeous Pendrell Hall Country House in Staffordshire played host for Morgan and Carolines wedding day. We love shooting at Pendrell Hall and there are no shortages of photo opportunities here, with secret gardens, fountains, woodlands, fairy lights and open fields it really does have it all. Morgan and Caroline chose our ‘Forever Package’ meaning we were there all day capturing their wedding from their first steps in the morning all through to the evening celebrations and dancing.

The morning is one of our favourite parts of a wedding day to capture. There is so much excitement in the air and emotions are naturally running high. From a story telling point of view, these are the photos that set up your day and are key photos to look back on as 99% of the time your partner will not know what you have been up to in the hours leading up to your ceremony. We love taking a back seat and just photographing things as they unfold.
We used the gorgeous bridal suite for some final portraits and captured some intimate moments between the brides and their family. These were such precious moments and there was not a dry eye in the room!

The outdoor ceremony space that Pendrell Hall offers is beautiful. You really feel like you are in a secret garden!
When we had our engagement shoot in the spring, Morgan and Caroline told me how they plan on having a first look at each other just before they walk down the aisle. Their plan was executed perfectly as they both appeared out of opposite doors at the top of the aisle. The heavens then decided to open just as the ceremony began, meaning we had to relocate the ceremony to indoors. There was a mad scramble for umbrellas (or anything that could be used for cover)! Morgan and Caroline remained unbelievably calm and laughed it off!

With everyone settled (and slightly damp) we were able to restart the ceremony! There are not many couples who can say they walked down the aisles twice in one wedding day! The ceremony was beautiful and there was just so much love between this amazing couple.
Hugs, hugs and more hugs! We have never seen more hugs than we did on this day!
After Morgan and Caroline had celebrated with their family and friends, we made use of the rain taking a break and went to capture some couples portraits and went for a short walk around the stunning grounds Pendrell Hall has to offer. We love doing couples portraits and they are one of our favourite parts of the wedding day. We always keep things natural and make sure that you are relaxed and comfortable because that is what makes the best photos! We will offer some pointers and suggestions to help create the perfect candid photos to look back on forever.
The speeches were emotional on this day, with plenty of stories being shared and plenty of tears being shed! We love photographing speeches as they often are the perfect time to get some candid photos of natural reactions, laughs, tears and loads of cheers!
In the evening we went for another walk around the grounds, we find that our evening portraits are often the best! You are relaxed, all the pressure has been lifted, you have had a gorgeous meal and now you are ready for a bit of alone time. We let you just take in the moment and talk about what you have just done and everything that has happened whilst we snap away and offer a few pointers.
